I've read a number of Marilyn...I agree, Morgan. I've read a number of Marilyn's books and enjoyed all of them - even one that was horror and I sort of wished I hadn't yet I could NOT put it down. You never know what will click. John Grisham sold his earlier books out of the trunk of his car. The problems with us authors supporting other authors on posts is most of us (I think) can't read all of our author friends books. There's an glut of books out that.authorlindathornehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02605805996356003012noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7041804343600978883.post-68386160661072575982017-07-18T18:28:36.017-05:002017-07-18T18:28:36.017-05:00It doesn't hurt to cover all bases! It doesn't hurt to cover all bases!

Morgan Mandelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10118929301591850918noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7041804343600978883.post-2750109586205974802017-07-18T17:32:07.381-05:002017-07-18T17:32:07.381-05:00Sometimes I wonder if posting on other author'...Sometimes I wonder if posting on other author's blogs draws enough attention to make it worthwhile. Here's the response I get each time I ask my sister if she'll take a look at my current post on my personal blog. "What was that link address again." I'll say everytime: "My name. Just type in my name and put Dot Com after it then go to the blog page." I asked someone who's been a friend of mine for like 45 years if she'd look at my blog. She did and then said. "Who will ever go to it and why? Unless there's something in it for them, why would anyone troll websites looking for people's blog updates? But it is putting your work out there even if the results and profit are tiny. I bought and read and reviewed one of Simon Wood's books a year or so ago for only one reason. He used to come to the Fresno SinC meetings and do author talks when I lived in that area, so 11 years later, all the way across the country, someone on Goodreads recommended it and I bought it and reviewed it. That's not a huge return for Simon Woods, but how many other people has he touched in some way. authorlindathornehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02605805996356003012noreply@blogger.com
