I'm currently writing a senior sleuth, but the characters are a tad over sixty. I have worked with the elderly for four years and I'm always amazed how well some of them can do. Just because you get older don't make you less able, it just makes you funny as hell.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00741339742186444605noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7041804343600978883.post-89504052106560204442011-06-20T14:10:12.706-05:002011-06-20T14:10:12.706-05:00Gee sixty is not old at all considering most can d...Gee sixty is not old at all considering most can do just about anything. He just got his first cell phone and the proud parents plan on buying him a Kindle for Christmas.

I had to ask why on both and was told they don't want him feeling behind. He goes to Daycare and supposedly it is common for kids in his age group to have cell phones and some of them have Kindles.

Makes one wonder....Kevin R. I think it would be hard to have an older protagonist, although Mike Befeler is in his 60s and writes about a man in his 80s with a "young chick" of a girlfriend who's 72. :)Jean Henry Meadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08146960738692672013noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7041804343600978883.post-56483699912548859832011-03-13T11:27:20.794-05:002011-03-13T11:27:20.794-05:00I know what you mean, Morgan. My goal is to show that they're capable of not only solving crimes but doing 99% of the things they've always done.
