Since today is Christmas, at least at my house, I thought I'd just wish you all a very merry holiday season and a fruitful and productive new year. And for those of you without snow, here's a glimpse of what living in the Idaho mountains could bring.
Happy Holiday's.

My Idaho holiday memory dates back to the Depression. Times were tough and my mother had lined up Christmas gifts for us (4 kids at the time) and had put them on layaway at Woolworth's (or some very similar store) in Weiser. Just before Christmas the store burned down. Bummer, but we had a nice Christmas anyway. My other fond memories are of being an 8-year old terrorized twice, once by Dracula and the other time by Frankenstein. Yes, in those days mothers let their 8-year old kids go to the movies all alone and in perfect safety. Times have changed and not always for the better.
All I can say is Brrrr and Happy New Year!
CM - I've been to Weiser, and I remember Woolworth's. I think that was my first cc as a married woman. Of course I had a BON card (now known as Macy's.
Glad you had a Merry Christmas despite the fire.
Marilyn,
We were supposed to get snow for Christmas here in St. Louis, but no snow at our house. Love the way the pines look in that picture.
